Our detergent focuses on a truly clean wash with thoughtfully chosen ingredients — and our dryer ball oil is where your signature scent gets infused into every load. It's our intentional two-step system and it changes everything.
Handcrafted in small batches in our pink studio in Old Town Cornelius, NC. Plant and mineral based, concentrated, and free from sulfates, parabens, phthalates, optical brighteners, and hormone disruptors.

How To Use
Pour 2-4 tablespoons per load directly into your washing machine. Safe for HE and standard machines. Works in all water temperatures.
Small load: 1/2 oz
Medium load / activewear: 1 oz
Large load / heavy soiled: 2 oz
Don't overfill your machine — laundry needs room to tumble and get clean. A medium load with 1 oz of detergent is your sweet spot.
Seeing too many bubbles? Use a little less next time.
Hard water? Add a scoop of our Pretty + Clean Oxy Boost to help soften the water and boost cleaning power.
Septic and gray water safe.

Water Temperature Guide
Hot water: whites, heavily soiled items, activewear, diapers. Best for killing germs and dust mites.
Warm water: man-made fibers, knits, and jeans. Cleans without fading or shrinking.
Cold water: dark colors, bright colors that bleed, and delicate fabrics. Pre-treat or pre-soak heavily soiled items first.

Is this safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. This formula is free from sulfates, parabens, phthalates, optical brighteners, and hormone disruptors — all the things that irritate sensitive skin. It's gentle enough for everyday use on the whole family's laundry.
As with any product containing fragrance, we recommend doing a small patch test on a fabric first if you have known skin sensitivities. Every skin is different and we always want you to feel confident about what you're bringing into your home.
Is it safe for HE machines?
Absolutely. Works in both HE and standard washing machines in all water temperatures.
Will my laundry actually smell like the scent?

At Bells Box Collective, we do things a little differently on purpose. Traditional detergents are designed to leave a strong, lingering scent on your clothes by using extra chemicals that “stick” fragrance to fabric.
Our detergent is focused on what matters most first… a truly clean wash using beautiful, thoughtfully chosen ingredients. That means your laundry will come out of the washer smelling fresh, light, and clean, not overly perfumed.
The real scent moment happens in the dryer. Our dryer ball oil is where your chosen fragrance is gently infused into your laundry, giving you that elevated, signature scent in a way that feels clean, not overwhelming.
It’s our intentional two-step system… clean in the wash, scent in the dry.

Do I really only need 2-4 tablespoons?
Yes! This is a concentrated formula. More is not better here — using too much can leave residue on fabrics and create excess bubbles. Start with 1 oz for a medium load and adjust from there.
Is it safe for baby clothes and cloth diapers?
Yes. Free from harsh chemicals, optical brighteners, and synthetic fragrance in the wash cycle. Always wash on hot for diapers to ensure proper sanitation.
Is this septic safe?
Yes. 100% biodegradable and septic and gray water safe.
How is this different from big box store conventional detergents?
Conventional detergents are loaded with synthetic fragrance, optical brighteners, sulfates, and hormone disruptors that absorb into your skin through your clothes every single day. Ours is plant and mineral based, free from all of that, and handcrafted in small batches in our pink studio in Cornelius NC. Same clean. None of the stuff you don't want.
What does "clean fragrance" mean?
We use phthalate-free fragrance oils — no hormone disruptors, no synthetic chemicals that don't belong in your home. You get the beautiful scent without the stuff we've always left out. Like we always say...our products are pretty and clean!!

Orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days and ship from our studio in Old Town Cornelius, NC. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

That said we stand behind every single thing we make. If your order arrives damaged or defective please reach out to us at bellsboxcollective.com within 5 days of delivery with a photo and we will make it right. No runaround, no hassle — just us taking care of you the way we always have!
