welcome to our pink candle bar
In 2017 we opened our doors as a Creative + Cute space where our community could gather and connect over a good ol dose of creativity! Candle making, flower arranging, jewelry making, cocktail classes…if it was something teachable and fun, we did it!
Over the past 6 years, the long family style table that sits down the middle of the studio has hosted thousands of women while they connect over something crafty. We believe that inspiring our community to create something with their own two hands, while surrounded by their peers, is one of the keys to happiness!
During the pandemic, while supplies were scarce and we couldn’t gather in large groups, we found that our pink studio was the perfect place to share our love of clean candles with our community in small groups. Creating clean and toxic free candles that were in beautiful containers that act as decor in our homes, quickly became our go to craft around here. In 2022, we transitioned our mixed use space to a full time candle bar and now you can find us on the daily whipping up super custom + clean scents for our clients at workshops, in our store, and online. Our nights and weekends are filled with private group workshops – the ultimate GNO, a sweet take on baby showers + bridal parties, company team building events. You name it, we have the best time hosting an out of the box event for you and your friends!
We pride ourselves on creating candles that 100% custom, free of toxins and chemicals, and in the most gorgeous containers you have ever seen! We also hang our hat on the fact that you won’t find another experience like the one that you will have at our adorable space (some might say that the experience you have at Bells Box is our secret sauce!) And we can’t wait for you to join our community!
Meet Cory
In 2015, Cory left her drab grey cubical to chase her entrepreneurial dreams of creating a community driven business. Two years later, she opened the doors of the Pink Studio in Old Town Cornelius and offered crafty, DIY workshops like candle making, floral arranging, kids crafts, and everything in between.
During the pandemic, she found that her candle making was the most requested class for small groups. She was also dealing with Infertility and found that Candles often contained toxins and chemicals and reproductive hormone disrupting chemicals so she set out to create the cleanest candles possible to share with her community.
These days, she can be found joyfully chasing after her toddler, Jax; chatting up business ideas and chasing dreams with her husband and fellow entrepreneur, Jason; creating new and wildly luxurious clean candle scents, and teaching candle classes/making new friends at the studio!
